Although I'm not a Vegan, I am certainly interested in starting to cook more plant based meals and am always on the lookout for new recipes that fit this way of eating。  Dreena's Kind Kitchen was a really helpful Cookbook in that there were a lot of good ideas and easy to follow recipes。  Many of them seemed doable for myself and my family but there were also some that I know I would never try, Beet Burgers being one of them。  But having so many new options to consider and start pondering is def Although I'm not a Vegan, I am certainly interested in starting to cook more plant based meals and am always on the lookout for new recipes that fit this way of eating。  Dreena's Kind Kitchen was a really helpful Cookbook in that there were a lot of good ideas and easy to follow recipes。  Many of them seemed doable for myself and my family but there were also some that I know I would never try, Beet Burgers being one of them。  But having so many new options to consider and start pondering is definitely helpful for me。The pictures in the book were gorgeous and mouth-watering!The challenges for me in particular with this book is that there were no nutritional facts available with these recipes。  This was very surprising to me as I assumed health forward Cookbooks would include such information for those folks who are clearly focused on health conscience meals。  Additionally, some of the items used in the recipes would not be on hand naturally and I would need to prep ahead of time to order some items online。  Not a negative per se, but just something to be aware of。Some of my favorite recipes in this book were:Sweet Potato MuffinsSunny Curry DressingGood Day Sunshine HummusAvo-mame HummusLemon-Herbed ChickpeasPantry SoupLentil and Sweet Potato LoafNanaimo BarsMango Carrot CakeIf you are looking for a good Plant Based Cookbook, Dreena's Kind Kitchen is definitely one to check out! 。。。more

Even if you aren’t a vegan, or have plans to become one, this book is extremely helpful。 There’s so many useful tips, from how to store fruits and vegetables to bath cooking。 The recipes are great。 I plan on incorporating many into my family’s diet。 The recipes aren’t complicated though some ingredients may not be easily accessible in every store。 I loved all the pictures。 They were very vibrant and delicious looking。

It isn't always easy to find delicious vegan meals that are easy to make and sound and look delectable。 Ms。 Dreena' cookbook exceeded my expectations。 Every one of the recipes are photographed that gives you a visual of the finished creation。 The photos are beautiful and rich, just looking at them made me want to run to the kitchen and make the recipe right then。 Breakfast, dinner, soups, snacks, and main courses, there are plenty of items to tempt even the most finicky eater into trying the dis It isn't always easy to find delicious vegan meals that are easy to make and sound and look delectable。 Ms。 Dreena' cookbook exceeded my expectations。 Every one of the recipes are photographed that gives you a visual of the finished creation。 The photos are beautiful and rich, just looking at them made me want to run to the kitchen and make the recipe right then。 Breakfast, dinner, soups, snacks, and main courses, there are plenty of items to tempt even the most finicky eater into trying the dishes。 I am looking forward to trying these recipes and share with vegan and nonvegan family alike。 Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic book to review。 All opinions are my own。 I was not required to write a positive review。 。。。more

Very well done and well laid out book。 The recipes were simple to follow without a bunch of off the wall stuff being used。 There was a good sampling of different recipes also。

I’m not a vegan but I love meatless dishes so I’m always looking for a meatless Monday recipe! This was a fun and friendly cookbook that held some really gorgeous looking dishes。 You don’t have to be a vegan to appreciate the time making a recipe good enough to not include animal byproducts。 What did I like? The colorful photos in this book and the ideas within would win over just about anyone。 The author gives some great tips on washing vegetables and what to eat organic。 Would I recommend or I’m not a vegan but I love meatless dishes so I’m always looking for a meatless Monday recipe! I felt like most of these recipes looked pretty good and the pictures throughout are stunning! The book is organized nicely, though it contains no nutritional facts。 Some recipes contained more sugar than I would have liked and gluten and grains are used a lot, which I cannot eat, so I feel like many of the recipes do not work for me, but would work for most of the population。 In general, the recipes included are healthier options than their traditional counterparts。

I am not a vegan as of yet, but due to multiple food intolerances vegan cookbooks actually fit my lifestyle better。 I own several of Dreena’s previous cookbooks, and Plant-Powered Families is actually one of my all-time favorite cookbooks。 Something this author does very well is recipes that are accessible for a wide range of people and tastes。 She also always has very good hints and tricks to help you in the kitchen, and this cookbook is no exception。 It’s filled with very tasty sounding recipe I am not a vegan as of yet, but due to multiple food intolerances vegan cookbooks actually fit my lifestyle better。 I own several of Dreena’s previous cookbooks, and Plant-Powered Families is actually one of my all-time favorite cookbooks。 Something this author does very well is recipes that are accessible for a wide range of people and tastes。 She also always has very good hints and tricks to help you in the kitchen, and this cookbook is no exception。 It’s filled with very tasty sounding recipes that do not rely on weird frankenfoods, and many of the recipes are gluten-free or easily made that way with substitutes。 There are also plenty of photographs which I find very helpful in a cookbook。 I’ve actually had this cookbook on my wish list for several months, so I am very thankful to have gotten this ARC。 A few of the recipes I plan on trying ASAP are the Crackle Blender Brownies, Lemon Herb Chickpeas, and Gingerbread Granola。 Highly highly recommend this cookbook!Thank you to NetGalley & BenBella Books for this advanced reader copy。 All opinions expressed in this review are my own。 。。。more

Plant-based foods are often the most processed foods on the planet and are nothing like the ingredient that came out of the ground。 The recipes are well written and understandable by cooks of all levels and the photos make the food very appealing to myself and other lovers of food out there and I will make some of them, but not all of them。 Hubby had zucchini for the first time in his 66years last week so I am slowly getting him away from boxed foods to things he will eat that I have made for dinner so I don't have to make two meals as I do at lunchtime。 (he has a serious love affair with processed meat!)I will recommend this book to friends, family, patrons, book clubs, and people reading books in the park as we do … I have had some of my best conversations about books down by the Thames! As always, I try to find a reason to not rate with stars as I simply adore emojis (outside of their incessant use by "🙏-ed Social Influencer Millennials/#BachelorNation survivors/Tik-Tok and YouTube Millionaires/snowflakes / literally-like-overusers etc。 " on Instagram and Twitter。。。 Get a real job, people!) so let's give it 🍄🍄🍄🍄 。。。more
